What is Filmpeople?
Filmpeople is the online network for the film industry. We are an independent organisation focused on supporting film professionals online via various platforms. Filmpeople is accessible to everyone. Even without a membership you can, in a limited way, use our services. With a membership you have full access. 
Our platforms help film people with everything that takes place online around film production. Through handy web tools on various websites, filmmakers can more easily realise their film dreams. Filmpeople is set up and managed by filmmakers, and we also write all our own software ourselves, tailored to the needs and wishes of the film professional. Who can become a member? Anyone who works in, or studies for, a profession related to the film industry can sign up as a film professional. People who do not fall under these categories can sign up as someone interested. What do we do for people who sign up? Our goal is to support people who work on films by informing them and bringing them into contact with each other. We are convinced that the internet is an ideal medium for collaborating on films more easily, and that there are still many possibilities open. Filmpeople has officially existed since 2004, but the founders have been actively involved in the film industry since 2000. How do we connect people? We maintain various platforms and services that promote communication between film people, with, among other things, news, guides, address books, profiles and noticeboards. What can film professionals do there?
